March Regenerative Organic Farming Month

The foundation of our farming methods, regenerative agriculture consists of a set of agricultural principles and practices that rehabilitate and enhance the entire ecosystem and that “enhance the resources it uses, rather than destroying or depleting them,” according to the Rodale Institute. The aim is to have a healthy soil to produce high-quality, nutrient-dense food.

Together with us of the Nuovo Cilento Cooperative, in March we learn its key points such as: the conservative tillage of the soil, the cover crops, the increase of organic matter and the fixation of nitrogen, as well as the recovery of nutrients, composting. Regenerative agriculture applies techniques aimed at this goal and makes farms capable of high quality productivity from an ecological point of view.
